MY ART JOURNEY
I am a Colombian native, born and raised, currently residing in the vibrant city of Tampa, Florida, with my loving husband and children.
My artistic journey has been an integral part of my life, stretching back to my earliest memories. From the very beginning, I've felt a magnetic pull towards various forms of artistic expression and craftsmanship.
My identity as an artist has been ingrained in me since as far back as I can remember. It's a journey that has unfolded organically, shaping my perception of life and purpose. I wholeheartedly believe that my artistic endeavors are not just a passion but a
profound calling.
Reflecting on my life, I struggle to recall a single event where I wasn't immersed in some form of creative artistry. Whether it was sketching, painting, or experimenting with various crafts, the thread of creativity has woven its way through the fabric of my existence. Art, for me, is not just a pastime; it is a fundamental aspect of who I am, and I am grateful to embark on this perpetual journey of self-discovery through my creative pursuits."
Since pursuing a professional career I didn't think art was a viable option in Bogota,Colombia so I enrolled in college for architecture. Through studying architecture in college, I felt myself come alive in my art classes. My professors affirmed my natural gifting and strengthened my confidence. The more I built my artistic skills, the more my determination grew to become a fulltime artist.
Residing in Tampa
has afforded me the opportunity to delve deeper into my art career, and over the past five years since I relocated here, I've wholeheartedly embraced the role of an artist. My canvas has become a reflection of all that I hold dear and love.
Numerous pieces of my artwork have found their place in various galleries, from the vibrant St. Petersburg to the charming locales of Brooksville and Dade City.
However, my artistic focus has found its zenith in the realm of live wedding painting.
Why, you might wonder? Painting is not just a craft for me; it is an expression of my deepest passion. Capturing the love between two individuals, celebrating their union, and presenting them with a unique piece of art to treasure for generations is an endeavor that resonates profoundly with my heart and soul.
Being a live wedding painter allows me to merge my artistic skills with the joyous celebration of love.
